Abstract

The study aimed to analyze and highlight the impact of the development of the digital economy on the quality of education outputs during the period (2001-2021). The main contribution of this study was that it dealt with the direct relationship between the digital economy and educational outcomes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as previous studies were limited to studying the impact of the digital economy on economic growth as a whole and other variables. The research methodology relied on the analytical descriptive method in presenting theories and analyzing data, in addition to the standard method for estimating the relationship in the long and short term between the variables in question by the method of cointegration and the error correction model. The result was that the digital economy adversely affects productivity in the long term, but in the short term there is no effect.
