Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the extent to which faculty members implementing the principles of universal design for learning from perspectives of students of one of the universities of the central region, and to investigate whether there are statistically significant differences at the extent of (0.05≥ α) between the averages of students' evaluation of the extent to which faculty members implementing universal design of learning attributed to the following variables (college, program, with or without disability, type of disability). The study followed the quantitative descriptive approach. and to achieve the objectives of the study; the researchers prepared a questionnaire about principles of universal design for learning, and the application of basic principles to the learning management system (Blackboard), the number of participants in this study reached (385) students from  colleges of Humanities and applied college, including (21) students from people with disabilities, the results found that there is a high implementing of the principles of universal design for learning related to providing flexible options for participation, presentation of information, performance and expression. and the results indicated that there are no Statistically significant differences at (0.05≥ α) between female students on their perspectives of the extent to which faculty members implementing the universal design of learning attributed to the college, program and presence of disability variables, but there are statistically significant differences for the disability type variable for physical disability.
