Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

I, the undersigned, undertake and acknowledge the following regarding the study tagged with:

  1. The aforementioned study, which was submitted to the Saudi Journal of Special Education, has not been previously published.
  2. The study was not submitted for publication, in whole or in part, to any other party, whether in a scientific or journalistic journal, or any other publication medium.
  3. We agree to publish the study in the journal by any means, whether printed, electronic, or any other means, and to transfer the copyright and authorship
    To the Saudi Journal of Special Education.
  4. If the journal's editorial board approves its publication, I agree that I do not have the right to dispose of the study, whether by translation, quotation, or transfer from the above-mentioned study, or summarizing it, or benefiting from it in the media, except after obtaining written approval from the editor-in-chief of the Saudi Journal for Special Education.
  5. The information mentioned in the study was written by me - ours and my - our contribution to the study is substantive.
  6. I/we reviewed the final version of the study and I/we bear legal and ethical responsibility for its content.
