بيتُ المَرَّار بن مُنقذ العَدَويّ دراسة في إشكالات الشَّرح والرِّواية

ملخص البحث: يتناول هذا البحث بيتًا من الشعر العربي القديم، من قصيدة رائية للشاعر الـمَرَّار بن مُنْقِذ العَدَويّ التميمي، وهي قصيدة مُفضَّلية مطوَّلة تقع في خمسة وتسعين بيتًا، رواها أبو العبّاس المفضّل بن محمد الضَّبي ضمن اختياره نخبة من القصائد التي أُطلق عليها المفضّليات، وقد نالت اختياراته هذه شهرة واسعة بين رواة الشعر ونقاده، وهذا البيت الذي نحن بصدد الحديث عنه تداولته بكثرة معاجم اللغة العربية ومعاجم البلدان قديمًا وحديثًا، وبعض شرَّاح الشعر شاهدًا شعريًا على مواضع في نجد من جزيرة العرب. ولم يكن الإشكال في تداولهم إياه، وإنما الإشكال -فيما يظهر- في صِيَغِ المواضع التي جاءت بها رواياته، ثم سيق البيت شاهدًا عليها، وقد كان التصحيف أو التحريف أو الخطأ في الرواية أو عدم معرفة أولئك الذين تداولوا هذا البيت ببيئة الشاعر ومكانه الذي يعيش فيه؛ أو هذا كله مجتمعًا كان حائلًا دون مراد الشاعر من تلك المواقع التي وردتْ في بيته.

Abstract. This paper deals with a verse of a classical Arabic poem, rhymed in -r, by the poet al-Marrār ibn Munqith al-ʿAdawī al-Tamīmī. This poem is lengthy, consisting of ninety-five verses, and narrated by Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Mufaḍḍal al-Dabbī in his selection of poems, known as al-Mufaḍḍaliyyat. Al-Mufaḍḍal al-Dabbī’s selection of poems achieved extended fame among the poetry narrators and critics. The verse, being studied in this paper, was extensively mentioned in Arabic language dictionaries as well as dictionaries of countries, both pre-modern and modern. It is also used as poetic evidence by the commentators of poetry for some sites in Najd in the Arabian Peninsula. The challenge is not in the spreading of this verse, but, as we think, in the way the names of these sites were drafted, as mentioned in its various narrations, and how this verse was used as evidence. It is possible that the misplacement of diacritical marks, alteration, an error in the narration, lack of knowledge of the milieu and place in which the poet lived by those who narrate it, or all of these factors combined was a reason for not knowing the correct sites as the poet intended in his verse.
