The results revealed that 73.1% of households are satisfied with their residential environment, with homeowners reporting higher satisfaction due to stability and larger spaces. The study also highlights households' design preferences for dwellings and residential areas. recommends establishing clear design criteria to enhance housing quality and support Vision 2030’s goal of providing suitable housing that meets the aspirations of Saudi society.
